President Bhandari endorses two ordinances

KATHMANDU, April 20: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has endorsed two ordinances at the recommendation of Council of Ministers.

The first ordinance brings amendments in the provisions in the Political Party Act to make it easy to split political party, while the second ordinance makes it possible to convene meeting of Constitutional Council even without the participation of main opposition party leader. The Constitutional Council headed by Prime Minister takes decisions on constitutional appointments.
