President appoints ambassadors to US and China

KATHMANDU, Nov 10: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed new ambassadors to the United States and China. Lok Darshan Regmi has been appointed as Nepal’s ambassador to the US, and Prof Dr Krishna Prasad Oli as the ambassador to China.

According to the Office of the President, the appointments were made on the recommendation of the government in accordance with clause 1 of Article 282 of the Constitution. Their names were approved by the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.
