DHANUSHA, Nov 2: The preparations for the visit by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee are nearing final stages in Janakpur.
The Janakpur Sub Metropolis, local police administration and various organizations are working hand-in-hand to make the visit taking place on November 4, a success.
President Mukherjee will offer prayers at the world famous Janaki temple and attend a civic reception at Tirhutiya Gachi. The entire visit will last 55 minutes, according to Dhanusha's Chief District Officer (CDO), Dillip Chapagain.
The Indian President is scheduled to arrive in Janakpur at 11 am. He will offer prayers for 25 minutes at the Janaki temple followed by a civic reception to last 30 minutes.
CDO Chapagain said all necessary security preparations to be undertaken by the local authorities have been complete.
Chief of District Police Office, Dhanusha, Superintendent of Police (SP), Lilamani Acharya, said four thousand security personnel will be mobilized from the local level which will include Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force. The border checking has also been intensified and security tightened in view of the forthcoming visit.
A total of 1,500 people will be allowed to attend President Mukherjee's civic reception at Tirhutiya Gachi, according to Janakpur Sub Metropolis. RSS
