TULSIPUR, Sept 10: In an effort to manage wastes efficiently, the Ghorrahi sub-metropolis is making necessary preparation to generate energy from perishable waste.
In this connection, the sub-metropolis has selected company through bidding process to undertake the assignment of generating power from waste.
The contract for the assignment was awarded to Nepal Energy Development Company Pvt Ltd.
According to Engineer at Ghorahi Sub-metropolis Ramdhan Shrestha, the contract was signed for the purpose for 20 years.
Preparations are being made to develop physical structures required for generating energy from waste. The estimated investment of the project is Rs 100 million. RSS
