SURKHAET Feb 3: Preparations for the first meeting (slated for February 4) of the Provincial assembly (PA) of province-6 have been completed.
According to province secretariat, the assembly hall has been made ready for the maiden meeting with painting and other decorations also completed.
TU senate meeting postponed, next meeting undecided
Meanwhile, all party meeting has developed the agenda for the first meeting. According to province secretary Sanjay Dahal, the meeting has also prepared the interim working procedure to be effective until the assembly endorses a new procedure.
The senior-most provincial parliament member Him Bahadur Shahi will chair the first meeting. Similarly, the next meeting of the state assembly will take place on February 12, when the election for the speaker will also be held.
Meanwhile, office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers has also been established at the existing regional administration office building.
