KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Nepali Congress candidate Prakashman Singh has secured victory for House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1.

Prakashman defeated Rabindra Mishra of Bibek-Sheel Sajha by 819 votes. Singh secured 10,937 votes to claim victory whereas Mishra obtained 10,118 votes.
