NUWAKOT, Aug 24: Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party led by Biplav and former Minister Khadka Bahadur Biswakarma 'Prakanda' has been brought to Nuwakot last night.
Biswakarma was brought to the district to lodge a case against him on the charge of setting ablaze two excavators at Belkotgadi Municipality-9 in the district on July 23, according to the Chief of District Police Office, Nuwakot, Superintendent of Police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar.
The excavators belonging to the Nagarjuna Constructions were being used in repair and maintenance of the Dhamale-Jiling road section in the district. One got completely damaged while another sustained partial damage.
Arrested Bishwakarma will be produced before the District Court today to extend the date for investigation, police said. RSS
