Prabhu Bank signs pact with CDS

KATHMANDU, March 30: Prabhu Bank has decided to become a depositary participant of Central Depository System (CDS) for starting electronic trading of its shares.

The bank signed an agreement to this effect with CDS and Clearing Limited on Monday, according to a press statement issued by the bank. Now onwards the bank's shares can be traded electronically by opening a Demat account, the statement added. Ashok Sherchan, CEO of the bank, and Subodh Sharma, CEO of CDS and Clearing Limited, signed the agreement on Monday.
