KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Prabhu Bank Ltd said Thursday it has moved one of its branch offices Banepa to Sindhuli Bazaar in Sindhuli.
Following a merger with Kist Bank Ltd and acquisition of Grand Bank, the commercial bank had multiple branch offices in close proximity in the Banepa area, the bank said in a statement. Giving this as the reason behind the relocation, Prabhu Bank said believed relocation of branches would help it expand its banking services.
The new branch in Sindhuli Bazaar was inaugurated by Binesh Kumar Shrestha, the president of Sindhuli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, amid a ceremony held on Wednesday.
