PPMO seeks written clarification from 24 construction companies that did not perform satisfactorily

KATHMANDU, July 8: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has sought written explanations from 24 construction companies and suppliers. They have been given seven days to furnish the clarification.

The office, on the recommendation of various government agencies, has asked for a seven-day explanation from those who are delaying the projects they were awarded and are not working satisfactorily. The Office asked the companies for a seven-day explanation after there was no response to the 30-day explanation.

The companies that have been asked to submit clarifications are Siruwa Construction of Tinkune, Khahrekhola Enterprises of Gothatar, Putalikath Construction Services Pvt Ltd of Dolakha, Lamabuddha Construction and Samagri Suppliers Harhar Mahadev of Kageshwari, Exon Builders Pvt Ltd of Tanahun, Noori Construction Pvt Ltd of Bardia, Shivalaya Builders of Hetauda, Antarta International  of Koteshwar, and RD Suppliers of Putalisadak.

Similarly, other companies include Nagarjun Construction Pvt Ltd and Shankar Mali Construction Services Pvt Ltd of  Kamaladi, Angel Construction Services Baneshwar, AKS Construction of Bharatpur, Chitwan, Kashyap/Arwan JV of Bharatpur, Chitwan, Tiivyu Construction Services of Rolpa, ISU Information Services Group, Tathya Engineering  and Infoproject Pvt Ltd of Mumbai , Rupandehi Builders and Construction Pvt. Ltd. Kathmandu and Arwan Construction Pvt. Ltd.
