KATHMANDU, Sept 8: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) on Wednesday blacklisted nine companies for failing to abide by the procurement laws.
The government authority has blacklisted Lord Shiva Suppliers, Janakpur; GK/Rehan and Sundara JV, Nuwakot; Nepalaya Architect and Builders, Kathmandu; Nurani Constructions, Sunsari; Friends Orbit Construction Services, Jhapa; Jaldevi Nirman Sewa, Nuwakot; Bhangeri Nirman Sewa, Solukhumbu; New Belaspur Construction, Dailekh and Sathibhai Nirman Sewa, Lalitpur.
Among these, Nurani Constructions has been barred from participating in any biddings of construction work for the next two years, while the remaining others will face the restriction for the next one year, according to the PPMO.
