BAITADI, Sept 3: Nepal Electricity Authority, Baitadi, has so far disconnected the power supply lines to 219 consumers in the district for not clearing their arrears within a stipulated time.
The Authority's Distribution Centre cut off the power supply lines to the consumers after the direction of Energy Minister Janardan Sharma. The NEA, Baitadi, disconnected the lines to 79 non-payers consumers in 15 days in the month of Bhandra, said Account Chief at NEA, Baitadi, Uttam Regmi.
Some government offices in the district have also not paid their electricity tariff. RSS
