KATHMANDU, Jan 25: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) announced that power supply will be disrupted for one to eight hours in various areas under the Jorpati, Budhanilkantha, and Maharajgunj distribution centers.
In the Jorpati distribution center, the Danchi feeder will cause power outages in areas including Makalbari, Dakshin Dhoka, Tiwari Tole, Shivachowk, Aryalgaun, Greenhill City, Bhadrabas, Naya Gaun, Hariyali Nagar, and Gajarkot from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The NEA stated that the disruption is necessary for feeder shutdowns required for electrical pole relocation.

In the Budhanilkantha distribution center, power supply will be interrupted from 9 AM to 5 PM in areas under the Tokha and Shivpuri feeders.
Areas affected by the Tokha feeder include Hattigauda, Balewa Depot, Khatri Gaun, Bishnumati area Tokha (Ward No 1, 2, and 3), Bhutkhel, Tokha Bazaar, Chandeshwori, Panchetar, Jhora, Sangla, and Bhatkeko Pul.
The Shivapuri feeder will cause outages in areas including Dadagau, Pasikot, Bhasmasthali, Tokha, Panchetar, Megacity, and Dhalmaltar until evening.
In the Maharajgunj distribution center, the Basundhara feeder will affect areas such as Basbari, Chakrapath, Samakhushi, Tokha Road, and Grande Hospital from 9 AM to 10 AM.
The NEA added that if the scheduled work is completed earlier than planned, it will restore power supply ahead of schedule.
