RUKUM, Jan 31: A person died of a stomach cancer in Rukum on Sunday night after failed attempts to draw financial assistance to seek a cure.
Dhanmaya Budha, 40, of Bhalakcha – 4 died after suffering from stomach cancer for the past two months, her relatives shared.
She could not treat the cancer due to abject poverty. She was being treated by shamans as money did not suffice for medical treatment, her husband, Deviram Budha said.
Budha added that he had gone to various locations in the district seeking help, but in vain. Deviram is now suffering from partial paralysis. There four sons and daughters are now facing hardship with the death of their mother. RSS
