Officials and suppliers in Kalimati market opine that easy availability and sufficient supply of these two vegetables in the year have made them the preferred choices among the consumers. “Potato and cauliflower are among those vegetables which are consumed heavily both at home as well as in hotels, restaurants and party venues. These two items will have excessive demand throughout the year,” says a wholesaler at Kalimati.
