KATHMANDU, Feb 6: Several domestic and international flights were cancelled on Wednesday morning due to poor visibility caused by a thick blanket of fog following Tuesday’s rainfall.

According to Utsab Kharel, manager at International Terminal Management Section of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), both domestic and international flights failed to land and take off this morning due to poor visibility. [break]

He, however, informed that flights have now resumed following improvement in visibility.
