Poll on slated time: Deuba

KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has assured that the Constituent Assembly (CA) election will be held on November 19 and efforts were on to bring the dissenting parties on board.



At a program organized by the Nepali Congress Manang District Committee in the capital today, leader Deuba said that parleys with the poll-opposing were being held to appease them to ensure their participation in the poll.[break]



Calling all to be prepared for the upcoming election, the NC leader also claimed that the NC would secure majority in the upcoming CA election.



Nepali Congress Manang District President Tek Bahadur Gurung, former minister Palten Gurung and others said that the election should be conducted with the participation of all parties by brining the agitating parties on board.



During the programme, NC leader Deuba welcomed different leaders from other parties in the NC.
