Deputy Superintendent of Police of Panchthar Dipak Pokharel said that Chaudhary was held on the charge of rape attempt against a 57-year-old woman. It is said that Chaudhary also misbehaved with two other women in the village after consuming alcohol.
Earlier, the locals had staged a demonstration at Amarpurbazaar against the activities of Chaudhary. DSP Pokharel said that further investigations have been initiated against Chaudhary by keeping him in the District Police Office. RSS
