Police to operate free bus service in two shifts today and tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Nepal Police will provide free bus services on October 11 and 12 as there has been  limited public transportation services in the Kathmandu Valley with the start of the Dashain holiday, causing difficulties for passengers.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Nepal Police will provide free bus services on October 11 and 12 as there has been  limited public transportation services in the Kathmandu Valley with the start of the Dashain holiday, causing difficulties for passengers.


The bus service will operate in two shifts: one at 8:30 AM and the second at 4:00 PM.

One bus route will operate to Bhaktapur, while the other will go to Lalitpur.


In the Kathmandu Valley, the free bus service operated by Nepal Police will follow a route starting from the Police Headquarters in Naxal, passing through Baluwatar, Teaching Hospital, Chakrapath, New Bus Park, Balaju, Swayambhu, Kalanki, Balkhu, Satdobato, Lagankhel, Jawalakel, Thapathali, Maitighar, Putalisadak, and Jay Nepal Hall, before returning to Naxal on the same route.


Similarly, the bus on route number 2 will depart from Naxal and travel through Ratopul, Gaushala, the Tribhuvan International Airport, Koteshwor, Thimi, Sallaghari, Surya Binayak, Chabahil, Sukedhara, Chakrapath, Teaching Hospital, and Baluwatar before returning to the Police Headquarters in Naxal.
