A police team led by Pipara Area Police Office in-charge Purna Bahadur Malla seized around the Sal timber felled in the forest. Police also confiscated saws and axes used for chopping wood.
Police said smugglers are absconding and the seized timber will be handed over to Pipara Area Forest Office.
