Police seize timber

BARDIWAS, July 26: Armed Police Force personnel have seized timber worth hundreds of thousands of rupees that was being smuggled to India from Belgaddi-7 of Mahottari district Sunday night.



According to Armed Police Force Base Camp at Ramnagar, the eucalyptus timber was worth Rs 250,000 and was cut from a plot of Sagarmatha Forest Development Project.



Ram Kumar Dhakal, APF inspector, said 65 pieces of timber were seized and handed over to Kuthmadhi Range Post for further action.
