KATHMANDU, April 29: One person died on the spot in a jeep accident in Amchok Rural Municipality-8, Bhojpur district, according to the police.
A Bolero jeep ( Ko 1 Ja 2617), which was going to Maiyutar from Balankha via Dummana, fell on the bank of Dudh Koshi river.

A woman died on the spot in the accident. Police Inspector Dalkumar Rai of the District Police Office, Bhojpur, said that the deceased has been identified as Runga Rai, 27, of Amchok Rural Municipality-10.
The injured were rescued and sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Sunsari, for treatment. The names and condition of the injured have not been disclosed.
