CPN's leader injured in police raid

KAPILVASTU, March 7: A Nepal Communist Party's leader sustained injuries on his leg as he tried to flee a police raid.

KAPILVASTU, March 7: A Nepal Communist Party's leader sustained injuries on his leg as he tried to flee a police raid. 


The Nepal Police raided the house of Durga Bahadur Roka, leader of Netra Bikram Chand led Communist Party of Nepal, at Turantpur, Shivagadi of Shivaraj Municipality-9 on Thursday.

During the raid, police confiscated single a Chinese pistol and two Short Machine Guns (SMG) along with 202 rounds of bullets, SP Achyutam Pudasaini.


Roka is now undergoing treatment at Butwal.
