DHADING, Oct 13: A security personnel died in a motorcycle accident at Baireni Bazaar of Baireni VDC-9 in the district.
The deceased has been identified as Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector Dhruba Thapa.
One killed, two seriously injured in a motorcycle accident
Seriously injured Thapa who was rushed to Kathmandu for treatment breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Trauma Center, SP Sarad Prasad Khatri of District Police Office, Dhading told Republica Online.
The accident took place when the motorcycle, Ba 69 Pa 1755, that Thapa was riding pillion, collided head-on with a motorcycle, Ba 75 Pa 2969, coming from the opposite direction.
Inspector Thapa from Marlung-4, Tanahun was based at Kumaltar of Dakshinkali. The driver of another motorcycle, Ba 27 Pa 2967, is Pralad Subedi,45, of Kumari VDC- of Nuwakot sustained injuries.
Thapa was coming to Kathmandu from Tahanun after receiving Tika from his parents.
Police are investigating the case after taking both the motorcycles under control.
