Police nab man for torching Ncell tower

CHITWAN, June 18: Police have arrested a person on the charge of his involvement in torching Ncell tower.

He is Puran Rai, 34, of Khotang district and currently living in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Police arrested Rai on the charge of torching Ncell tower at Dharma chowk of Bharatpur Sub-Metropolis-6 on June 12.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, search for three other involved in the incident was underway. Rai is Chitwan district member-secretary of Biplav-led CPN Maoist. The Ncell tower sustained minor damages from the fire. RSS
