Police impound vehicle used by smugglers in 15-kg yellow metal case

KATHMANDU, July 30: Police have impounded the vehicle used by smugglers in the 15-kg yellow metal case.

On Tuesday, smugglers had thrown 15-kg yellow metal from the vehicle after police chased the vehicle.    

According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sushil Yadav, a team of police from the Metropolitan Police Crime Division impounded the vehicle from Nakkhipot in Lalitpur district. Of the 15-kg yellow metal, 500-gram is gold, while the rest is silver. Police have already arrested three individuals who were in the car.
