DANG, Aug 14: As many as 10 tractors were taken under control while loading stones, gravel and sand from Patu river on Saturday, Area Police Office, Tulsipur said.
Responding to a tip off on the illegal excavation of construction aggregate in the river, the police took under control the tractors bearing registration plates – Ra 1 Ta 2324, Ra 1 Ta 2003, Ra 1 Ta 721, Ra 1 Ta 1809, Ra 1 Ta 2235 and Lu 2 Ta 3222.
The police are launching further investigation into the incident and plan to send the tractors to the District Development Committee (DDC) for further legal action, police said. RSS
