JANAKPURDHAM, Nov 15: Police constable Shambhu Yadav has been arrested on charges of murdering Bindeshwar Yadav, the Chairman of Mithila Bihari Municipality–9 in Dhanusha.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganesh Bam, police constable Yadav fired shots at Ward Chairman Yadav over a dispute over having a feast.

Police said some people were also injured in the incident. The injured are being treated at the Provincial Hospital in Janakpurdham.
The body of the deceased Yadav has been brought to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. The police stated that Yadav, who fired the shot, was employed at the Dhanusha police station. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
