CHITWAN, Sept 5: Police have arrested an Indian national with two kg of gold and four kg of silver from Narayangadh. Police confiscated the valued items in a raid by the Regional Investigation Group of Province 3's Police Office and District Police Office, Hetauda.

The arrested has identified as Shivaji Patil, 27 from Sangli district of Maharastra, India. Police have also sealed New Ganesh Gold-Silver shop that Patil has been operating, SP Sushil Singh Rathore, of District Police Office Chitwan said adding tht they had also seized Rs. 1.2 million in cash.
The siezed amount is valued at around Rs. 10 million. Police have initiated investigation against Patil under the Customs Act, 2064.
