16 gamblers including two Indian nationals arrested from Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, March 23:  A total of 16 gamblers including two Indian nationals were arrested with more than 300,000 in cash.

Police arrested them on Wednesday evening while they were gambling at a cafe in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1, Lokanthali.

Police have arrested 16 people including Dilip Giri, the owner of Majheri Cafe. District Police Office  Bhaktapur said that they were gambling in the same cafe.

Police also seized Rs 242,850 Nepalese and IRs 48,500 and 16 books from the gambling den.

According to the police, further investigation into the incident is currently underway.
