Adhikari was killed by the then Maoist rebels in 2004 on the charge of spying on their activities.
A joint team of Chitwan and Kathmandu police nabbed Ram Prasad Adhikari, one of the murder accused from Bagbazar, Kathmandu. He has been ferried to Chitwan last night following the arrest.[break]
Confirming the arrest of its cadre on the Adhikari murder case, the UCPN (Maoist) has announced different protest programs late last night.
Police arrested the murder accused Ram Prasad as per the demand of Nanda Prasad and Gangamaya Adhikari, parents of deceased Krishna Prasad Adhikari.
Both Nanda Prasad and Gangamaya are on fast-unto-death for over a month seeking justice for their son.
