KATHMANDU, April 28: Seven persons were arrested with contraband drugs from various places of the Kathmandu Valley, police said on Sunday.
A team of police from Metropolitan Police Sector, Badegaun, arrested 18-year-old Suraj Rokka of Lalitpur, and Rakesh Thakur of Saptari, aged 21, with 11 pieces of contraband drugs from Chapagaun area.
Police arrest seven with contraband
A team of Narcotics Control Bureau under the Nepal Police arrested Puskar Buda of Rolpa and Radheshyam Chaudhary of Rupandehi with 375 tablets of nitrazepam from Jadibuti area of Kathmandu on Friday.
In another incident, the Metropolitan Police Sector, Sanepa has arrested Atit Tamang of Dharan and Bikalraj Bhattarai of Rautahat with 4490 pieces of various types of contraband drugs from Dhobhighat, Lalitpur.
Similarly, Metropolitan Police Circle, Kirtipur arrested Himal Karki from Nayabazar with 150 pieces of different types of contraband drugs from Nayabazar, Kirtipur.
