KATHMANDU, Oct 29: The home team, Pokhara Paltan defeated Chitwan Rhinos by five wickets in the Pokhara Premier League (PPL) 2018.
Batting first, Chitwan Rhinos had scored 140 runs on the board at the loss of five wickets in its allotted 20 overs. Paras Khadka and Sunny Patel scored 44 and 46 runs respectively for the Chitwan Rhinos. BK Bhushal took two wickets while Sarad Veshwakar, Mohammad Naveed and Mehboob Alam took one wickets each.
Ravi Inder helps Paltan get back to winning ways
In response, Pokhara Paltan won the game in 17.2 overs. Ravinder Singh scored the fastest 50 and scored 65 runs in 48 balls to lead the stumbling team, which had lost early wickets, to victory. Karan KC took three wickets while Sunny Patel and Shakti Gauchan took one wickets each. Singh hit eight fours and three sixes.
Pokhara Paltan has now won two of its three games while Chitwan Rhinos have lost two consecutive games.
