BUTWAL, Feb 13: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Top Bahadur Rayamajhi has said that the government was forced to recommend the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) after sudden attempts were made to oust the prime minister from within the party.
Addressing a meeting organised by Lumbini Province Committee of Press Organization Nepal, journalists’ association close to the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in Butwal on Friday, Rayamajhi said that the Dahal-Nepal faction in the party created hindrances to the government by working against the spirit of party unification. He said that the prime minister decided to go to the people by dissolving the HoR after such attempts made by leaders within the party.

The Dahal-Nepal faction was pushed to the street for their wrong activities of targeting the PM by joining hands with the opponents, Minister Rayamajhi argued.
In-charge of Press Organization Nepal and NCP central committee member Rajendra Gautam urged the media fraternity to disseminate factual information while remaining active to safeguard the country’s national interest and political stability.
