KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai expressed his confidence that there would be a substantial progress in the ongoing peace and constitution drafting processes in three months.

Speaking to TV journalists at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar this morning, PM Bhattarai also reiterated that he would step down from his post if no remarkable progress is made in the twin tasks by that time. [break]

The PM also expressed his displeasure, saying that opposition parties, rather than cooperating with the government, have created hurdles in completing the tasks on several pretexts.

On the occasion, the journalists drew Bhattarai’s attention towards problems being faced by broadcast journalists, to which the PM responded by saying that his government is serious to the issues.
