KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Prime Minister KP Oli on Tuesday asked the nation to stand behind him as he vowed to steer the nation toward prosperity and development. “Now that Nepal has embarked on a new system as a federal democratic republic, our focus should be on guiding the country toward prosperity and development,” Oli said at a function organized to mark the 69th Democracy Day.
Nepal, Oli said, was on the path of becoming a functional democracy. He said that his government was striving for economic and social transformation by fighting against poverty, unemployment, backwardness, discrimination and lack of development.
