PM Oli's India visit brings positive vibe: Dr Bhattarai

KATHMANDU, March 1: Coordinator of new force Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said the Nepal-India relations, which witnessed strain, has now entered a phase of dialogue after Prime Minister KP Oli's visit.

At a press conference organized by the new force in the Capital city on Tuesday, coordinator Dr Bhattarai further said the visit has also led the two-country relations to a normal status."The visit has emphasized the implementation of some of the programmes initiated during my premiership. The dialogue began in the political level which should be taken positively," he stressed.

Although the visit did not bring big changes, it helped create positive atmosphere, he argued.

On a different note, he said newness is essential in politics, he said, announcing that the new force was going to launch innovative campaigns as green Kathmandu, clean Kathmandu, establishment of helping desk against corruption, priority to Nepali products, harmony campaign for national and social unity.

On the occasion, chief of economic department Rameshwor Khanal and chief of publicity department Mumaram Khanal informed about their departments' programmes. RSS
