KATHMANDU, Oct 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal and Press Advisor Surya Thapa have tested positive for COVID-19.
Posting on their social media accounts, both Rimal and Thapa announced that they have tested positive for the virus in recent PCR tests.

“I have tested positive for COVID-19. In a PCR test conducted yesterday, I tested positive for the virus,” Rimal wrote on Twitter. He has also requested those who came in his contact to be cautious.
Likewise, Thapa, posting on his Facebook account, said he had caught COVID-19. “I have tested positive for the virus in PCR testing conducted yesterday,” wrote Thapa, requesting those who came in his contact to stay cautious.
Last week, PM Oli’s personal doctor Dr Dibya Singh Shah also tested positive for the virus.
