PANCHTHAR, Dec 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Pranami Secondary School, where he had received his primary education.
PM Oli inaugurated the 18-room school building built at the Atharai Rural Municipality of Tehrathum today. During the event, he also interacted with the students, teachers, and locals. The school’ principal, Amrit Bahadur Budhathoki, said that PM Oli had studied up to grade 3 at this school.

The construction of the building, built with the assistance of South Korea's Um Hong Gil Human Foundation, was successfully completed recently. The Foundation has invested Rs 44.96 million for the construction of the building, Koshi Province government contributed Rs 2.14 million and Atharai Rural Municipality has invested Rs 6.9 million.
According to the chairman of the school management committee, Bhim Ghimire, the school had urged PM Oli to provide the budget after teaching and learning activities were not possible in the old building.
Ghimire said that the building was constructed after the Um Hong Gil Human Foundation made the main investment at the request of PM Oli. Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Park Tae-Young, Park Yoo Sun of Um Hong Gil Human Foundation and others were present at the program.
