PM Oli heads for Boao

BEIJING, March 24: After a joint-statement between Nepal and China was released in Beijing on Wednesday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on the fourth day of his week-long visit to China, flew off to Boao in Hainan province from Beijing.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to address the Boao Forum for Asia on the theme "Asia's New Future: New Dynamics, New Vision". He will be the first Nepali Prime Minister to address the forum. After the program, the team of Prime Minister will visit Nepal Pavilion at Nanshan Park in Hianan.Then, on Friday, his team will fly to cultural city of Shiyan in Shaanxi Province, which is also home town of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Prime Minister Oli will address an economic forum on "One Belt One Road" and will tour some of the Buddhist monasteries there. He will also visit Nepal-China Friendship Medical Research Center at Shiyan Medical University. He is also scheduled to meet various provincial and municipal leaders there.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Oli will reach Chengdu of Sichuan Province where he and his team will inspect earthquake reconstruction zone and a hydroelectricity project.

He will then fly to Kathmandu on Sunday from Chengdu.
