PM Oli directs NEA ED Ghising to restore power supply to industries

KATHMANDU, July 20: Prime Minister KP Oli has directed Kulman Ghising, executive director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), to promptly restore electricity to industries impacted by recent disputes over dedicated feeder and trunk lines.

KATHMANDU, July 20: Prime Minister KP Oli has directed Kulman Ghising, executive director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), to promptly restore electricity to industries impacted by recent disputes over dedicated feeder and trunk lines.

The directive came after a meeting with officials from the industry and energy sectors, including Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari, Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Deepak Khadka, and NEA’s Ghising.


Ghising has announced that a board meeting will be held to address the issue and resume power supply. The tariff dispute will also be reviewed for resolution.
