KATHMANDU, May 11: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi are holding one-on-one talks at Dwarika’s Hotel in the capital. They are scheduled to officially inaugurate a long-over-due Arun III hydropower project by jointly switching a button on.
Modi will also hold talks with the leaders of Nepal following a dinner reception.

Earlier, Modi paid a visit to President Bidya Devi Bhandari and vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun. According to sources, in the meeting, Modi and President Bhandari discussed issues related to matters of bilateral interest.
Modi, who is in Nepal on a two-day official visit, was conferred a guard of honor at the Nepal Army Pavilion, Tundikhel this afternoon. Modi and Oli jointly inaugurated Janakpur-Ayodhya-Janakpur Friendly Bus Service in Janakpurdham where he offered a special puja. He pledged IRs 100 crore for the construction of Ramayan Circuit on the occasion.
Modi, who landed at 10:25 am in Janakpurdham from Patna, will leave for Jomsom to pay homage to Muktinath Temple before wrapping up his two-day Nepal visit.
