KATHMANDU, May 21: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has vowed that there would not be any irregularities in the distribution of the amount and the relief materials contributed to the earthquake victims by individuals, organisations and the government both from within and outside the country.

The Prime Minister said this while receiving the relief amount provided by different organisations at his official residence at Baluwatar this morning.

"They (donors) have contributed the amount saved by forgoing their meals and it is not to be squandered," he said and expressed the commitment that such abominable acts would not be allowed.

No partiality and irregularities would be tolerated in the distribution of the relief amount and materials meant for the earthquake victims, the PM reiterated, adding that the government was also seriously following whether the collected relief amount and the received relief materials have gone to the quake victims.
