The prime minister said may the festival of Tihar, the symbol of light against dark and of flower, the symbol of fragrance, inspire us for unity and love among the Nepalese people and peace in society at large, by making an end to all mutual bitterness.
He wished that the day inspire us all to fight against evils and aberrations while promoting the culture the festival carries, urging all to celebrate it in a disciplined manner for harmony, social goodwill and family unity.
