PM directs civil servants in Humla

HUMLA, Jan 24: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has directed all the civil servants in Humla district today to carry out works of people in a swift and transparent manner.



The Prime Minister, who arrived here today in connection with the UCPN-Maoist party convention, directed the officials at Humla district headquarters.[break]



Stating that responsibility of the construction of the Karnali Highway will be handed-over to the Nepal Army, he said that the government has given priority to link five districts of Karnali with national road network.



On the occasion, Chief District Officer, Bijaya Narayan Manandhar, demanded the construction of jail as well as construction of Simkot-Hilsa and Simkot-Kawadi roads.
