KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is visiting the districts affected by flood, landslide and inundation in the east today. He will visit Sunsari, Morang, Ilam and Panchthar districts affected by the recent floods, landslide and inundation, according to his personal secretariat.


Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to visit the affected areas in all four districts, meet the survivors and get first hand information about the situation in the affected districts. He is scheduled to return to Kathmandu this evening, according to the secretariat.

Earlier, a team led by Prime Minister Deuba including Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale, Nepali Congress central members and former ministers NP Saud, Ramesh Lekhak and Bir Bahadur Blair had visited flood-hit and landslide-affected districts in the far west on Thursday and Friday.
