PM Deuba in Chitwan to address UML’s General Convention

CHITWAN, Nov 26: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived in Chitwan to address the 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML.

CHITWAN, Nov 26: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived in Chitwan to address the 10th National General Convention of the CPN-UML.


Prime Minister Deuba, who is also the president of the Nepali Congress (NC), arrived in Chitwan by helicopter some two hours ago. According to Chief District Officer Asaman Tamang, Deuba landed at the Junior Police Officer's School in Bharatpur at 12:45 PM. He has already reached the venue at Narayani river bank.

Prime Minister Deuba will return to Kathmandu later today after addressing the inauguration ceremony of the General Convention. 


Representatives of various political parties from different countries have also arrived in Chitwan along with the top leaders and representatives of major political parties in Nepal.


According to the CPN-UML, a video message has been received from the Chinese Communist Party, while political parties from different countries have sent congratulatory messages wishing success for the General Convention.
