PM Dahal furious at secretaries

KATHMANDU, Nov 21: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday talked tough to the government secretaries.



Directing the secretaries, the prime minister accused most of them of failing to carry out their duties and responsibilities properly.



PM Dahal strongly instructed them to work in such a way that it would bring about positive results in the livelihoods of the people.

“The people's expectations to see a noticeable progress in the reconstruction drive have remained unmet,” said Administrative advisor to PM Dahal, Narayan Dahal quoting PM Dahal.


PM Dahal turned furious at the secretaries accusing them of dillydallying, which accordinh to the PM, has hindered the government’s major works. Issuing a 26-point directive, the PM also directed them to speed up their works.


“Work automatically, not only when I direct. I have directed all of you time and again,” he said, “Now, I want expected results and I am eagerly waiting for that.” 


The PM said he would supervise the implementation of his directions.
