KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has clarified that he has less property as made public recently because of the party policy to transfer a leader's property in the party's name.
PM Dahal's clarification comes at a time when he is under fire from all quarters for his property detail made public recently as per the practice of disclosing property details of sitting ministers and high-ranking officials after assuming their positions.
He made this clarification in a program entitled direct talks with PM transmitted by Nepal Television.

"I possess little property as made public due to my party's policy to transfer a leader's personal property to the party. What property I own now all belongs to the party. I never amassed personal property," he explained.
Prime Minister Dahal said the constitution amendment bill registered at the parliament would be endorsed on consensus after discussions.
Hinting slight modification in the boundaries of proposed provinces, he urged all agitating sides to shun protests and come to discussion table.
PM Dahal also informed that the government is making preparation to advance some mega hydropower projects and make the existing hydel project works effective so as to end energy crisis facing the country. RSS
