KATHMANDU, Feb 6: General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Netra Bikram Chand and leader Khadga Bahadur Biswakarma have held a meeting with Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the prime minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Sunday evening.
During the meeting, the two leaders, who are also former colleagues, held intensive discussions on the national need for a reunion of all Maoist forces of the country, according to Prime Minister Dahal’s media expert Manahari Timilsina.

The two leaders have agreed to form a common front of socialist forces and ensure cooperation to prepare a basis for unity in the future. Timilsina said that the leaders have shared the same views on effective implementation of the agendas of the transformation from the unity of Maoist forces.
On the occasion, NCP leaders expressed concerns over the implementation of the agreements signed with the previous governments.
In response, Prime Minister Dahal said the government is committed to implementing all agreements signed in the past between the government and NCP.
